This body of work was created while in residence with the Kent Cultural Alliance in Chestertown MD (March 25-May 4). I worked with Trey Hill, owner of Harborview Farms, a large-scale regenerative agricultural operation. Our conversations about soil health and ecology, contradictions and connections, led to a responsive series of works using aluminum, handmade paints, ceramic, sound and poetry. The final show, LAND, brought the work of each resident artist together to talk about our experiences with the land in this region.
